Spring Lounge
cheapish drinks, good seating, usually a lively crowd. If you get a table with your friends you will feel on top of the world. Also good to go for some day time cocktails.
2 · West Village
Wilfie & Nell
Great spot to go with friends for a couple drinks, or to round out a date. Love the vibe, and theres seats and standing room. Very open feel. Citi bikes right outside. Bouncer could be nicer, and the bathrooms are weird.
3 · West Village
The Peculiar Pub
Fun spot on Bleeker street. Tons of seating, and a good spot to go with a group. Bouncer is kind of scary.
4 · West Village
Cafe Wha?
A show-based room, not a bar: book the 9 or 11:45 set and expect a packed, dancing crowd, table seating and servers. Fun live music.
5 · SoHo & Nolita
Beyond The Pale
Went here once before a dinner and they seated us right away and had a couple much needed pre dinner cocktails. Seems like a good vibe. Don't know what its like at night.
