Great Spot to grab a drink or two with friends before heading out. Would not spend my whole night there. Thursday live music is pure bliss. Mid week cocktails, and food. Nothing Shmancy.

Huge, high-energy East Village spot for a big group night, though the everyday crowd is still a bit of a mystery.
3 · SoHo & Nolita
The Folly
One of our favorites. Night I went there was a DJ and no one liked my Robot dance. Ton of booth seating. Maybe even a spot for after a date if it’s going well. Don’t quote
4 · West Village
The Red Lion
Who doesn't love live music. Great spot to end the night. I think they have live music every night of the week?! Definitely very underage during the summer, but let the kids have fun!
5 · East Village
Niagara
Fun dance floor but weird vibe, a little grimy collabed with some odd ducks. Not the one I'd pick first, unless you are into that or have a large group
